Information: Haruka, first seen on a red bicycle, is a new trainer starting out in the Houen region. She meets Satoshi when he is trying to calm his sick Pikachu down, and she soon invites herself along on his journey. Her first pokemon is an Achamo, the fire starter of the Ruby/Sapphire games.
Haruka is usually a happy-go-lucky girl, cluelessly getting her feet wet in the world of pokemon.Constantly blundering over attack names, battle strategies, and just pokemon in general, one wonders how Haruka would have made it on her own. At the start of her journey,she was more concerned with traveling the world than with meeting new pokemon,but soon after she starts her journey she changes her tune. However, she never gives up and is genuinely a kind person.
In Kanazumi City, she watches her first Pokemon Contest and instantly falls in love with the competition. When she witnesses a class at the Pokemon Trainers' School, the young trainer becomes even more intrigued. It is then that she decides not to gather gym badges, but to instead participate in Pokemon Contests.She eventually gets a PokeBlock case and participates in her first contest, but she ends up losing it. However, that doesn't stop her from competing, as she enters the contest in Hajitsuge Town.
Haruka is currently with Satoshi-tachi, traveling through Houen.
